What do I get when I buy a design?

When you buy a design off our website, you will get a number of things. Each design is multi-formatted and comes complete with a colour chart (if more than one colour).

Formats include: .jef, psw, xxx, art, pes, hus, vip, vp3 and pcs

Certain designs such as washaway or appliqué also give instructions on how to achieve the technique.

Will all designs be available in all formats?

How do I order designs from A Few Designs website?

Our designs are now available in two main ways.

Choice one: Choose the design you would like and click the buy now button. This will enable you to purchase the design. (Designs bought this way may be singular, a group or a specified collection)

Choice 2: Choose the option in which you can order a CD to be posted to you. This option will give you the designs in all formats, with a colour chart on a CD posted via registered post. The registered Post fee of $7.95 will be added to your order. This choice will not give the designs to you until the CD has arrived by post.

Can I choose my own group of designs and get them put onto CD?

At this time, the designs are available through a download system or by choosing a design collection. We are not putting any individual choices onto CD's to be posted.

International orders

All orders outside Australia must use Paypal.

If ordering the CD choice (Hard Copy) from outside Australia, you will need to first email for postage rates.

How do I order by Phone?

Browse through our online catalog. When you are finished making your selections, call 02-66213158 (+612 66213158 International) and we will take your order over the phone (Have your credit card ready).

How do I order by Mail?

Print the order form that is on the web site and fill it in (or just write a note telling me which design collection you would like).

We accept credit cards, cheques and money orders for orders by mail (inside Australia).

A FEW DESIGNS is open to everyone. We have no minimum purchasing requirements.

We will make every effort to post your order as quickly as possible and most orders are posted within 1-2 days of placing your order.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

What happens if I delete my design that I have downloaded?

If you accidently delete the design, we can resend you the design that you have purchased online. We will need an email from you stating the design you have bought, date and return email address. You must also include the transaction ID given to you by paypal. This will correlate with our records. The email address given to us must be the same as the purchasing one listed by paypal.

What is your return policy?

We do not credit but we will replace if the product is faulty or received damaged in the post (with same).

How do I make a return?

Change of mind is not a reason to return goods. Any faulty returned goods will only be replaced with same.

Before you make a return, please phone or email so I can check with you what the problem is and make the arrangements necessary for a replacement if required.

Replacement will only be processed once the merchandise has been received. Please send a copy of your purchase receipt and state what the problem is.

Returns must be returned by registered post as I will not be responsible for losses in the post (you will not be charged postage for the replacement of goods).

What if I have a problem loading the embroidery designs?

Firstly, follow the Installation sheet that is included with your embroidery CD. If this does not work or if you are having trouble, phone and I will walk you through the process. We are happy to help you.
